a new thing dA is doing is sending you notices that contain something you’ve posted with a short paragraph asking ‘does this contain explicit material?’ and no way to respond or like, select ‘yes/no’ or anything. its one of the most quietly menacing things ive ever seen done by a website

i wrote about a paragraph after that i then deleted b/c i think that my thoughts on it are going to need a little more editorial oversight than a stream-of-consciousness post. anyways, imagine if some people suddenly stumbled on homestuck on an internet archive in 2050 after it had been completely forgotten, sought out and befriended an elderly andrew hussie, and then made a documentary about him. thats the takeaway
